«Bring alles Geld weg, das im Haus ist»
Auf Youtube veröffentlichte Mitschnitte von Telefongesprächen bringen den türkischen Ministerpräsidenten in Bedrängnis. Er soll seinen Sohn aufgefordert haben, Millionen vor Korruptionsermittlern zu verstecken.

Gestern Abend sind angebliche Mitschnitte von Telefonaten von Ministerpräsident Erdogan mit seinem Sohn Bilal im Internet aufgetaucht (siehe Video). Die Mitschnitte legen laut der Opposition nahe, dass die beiden grosse Geldsummen verschwinden liessen, um sie vor staatsanwaltschaftlichen Ermittlungen in Sicherheit zu bringen.
Der «Spiegel» übersetzte die brisanteste Stelle eines der fünf aufgezeichneten Telefonate. Ein Mann ist zu hören, der seinen Sohn am 17. Dezember 2013 auffordert, Geld vor den nahenden Korruptionsermittlern in Sicherheit zu bringen. Angeblich handelt es sich dabei um Erdogan und Bilal:
«Bist du zu Hause, Sohn?», fragt die Stimme eines älteren Mannes auf Türkisch.
«Ja, Vater», antwortet die jünger klingende Stimme.
Vater: «Bring alles weg, was du im Haus hast!»
Sohn: «Dein Geld ist im Tresor.»
Vater: «Genau das meine ich.»
In den Gesprächen geht es laut dem «Spiegel» um grosse Summen. Mal sei von 30 Millionen Euro die Rede, dann von 25 Millionen Dollar.
Erdogans Regierung steht seit Mitte Dezember wegen Korruptionsvorwürfen unter Druck. Mehrere Söhne früherer Minister sitzen in Untersuchungshaft. Erdogan bezeichnet die Vorwürfe als Machenschaften von Anhängern des islamischen Predigers Fethullah Gülen, denen er vorwirft, sie wollten die Regierung stürzen.
Rücktritt Erdogans gefordert
Die Opposition in Ankara fordert allerdings den Rücktritt von Ministerpräsident Recep Tayyip Erdogan, wie verschiedene türkische Zeitungen heute berichteten. Die Republikanische Volkspartei (CHP), die grösste Oppositionspartei im Land, warf Erdogan vor, er habe jede Legitimation verloren und müsse zurücktreten. Die Mitschnitte seien echt.
Die zweitgrösste Oppositionspartei im Parlament, die nationalistische MHP, nahm heute ebenfalls Stellung. Die Mitschnitte seien «überwältigend», und die Staatsanwaltschaft solle gegen Erdogan wegen Korruptionsverdachts vorgehen, sagte Devlet Bahceli, der Chef der Nationalistischen Partei. Der Ministerpräsident solle nicht einmal daran denken zu behaupten, die Aufzeichnungen seien gefälscht.
Das Ministerpräsidentenamt wies die Vorwürfe zurück. Es handle sich um ein «dreckiges Komplott», teilte Erdogans Büro am Montagabend mit.
